Marion was one of 18 faculty members from higher education institutions across Georgia to participate in the symposium.
The Program was established in 1995 by Zell Miller, former governor of Georgia, to provide higher education faculty with expanded opportunities for developing important teaching skills.
In December 2022, Marion was recognized as the runner-up in the School-Based Category for her exemplary work in the community.
This award was established to identify individuals who have demonstrated measurable impact in expanding access to and advocating for PK-12 computer science education.
